Job description

This role is all about crafting, rolling out, and managing apprenticeship initiatives that sync perfectly with our long-term goals while sticking to all the necessary standards and regulations. You'll need a mix of big-picture thinking and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring our apprentices gain the essential skills and knowledge to succeed and flourish in their careers.

You'll bring a self-motivated spirit and a deep passion for service excellence. Previous experience in a similar Apprenticeship Lead role and a comprehensive understanding of apprenticeships and their providers will set you apart. Your extensive knowledge in this area will be key to developing programs that are both innovative and impactful.

Main Responsibilities
Programme Development: Design and implement apprenticeship programmes that are aligned with industry standards and our organisational objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, training providers, and industry partners to enhance the apprenticeship experience.
Mentorship and Support: Establish a supportive environment for apprentices, including mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback mechanisms.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all apprenticeship programmes comply with legal requirements and maintain the highest standards of quality.
Recruitment and Selection: Work in collaboration with our Talent Acquisition team and the wider business regarding the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for apprentices, ensuring a diverse and talented cohort.
Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the performance of apprentices and the effectiveness of apprenticeship programmes, making adjustments as necessary to meet me goals.
Budget Management: Manage the budget for apprenticeship programmes, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, Learning and Development or related field ideal but not essential
Proven experience in managing apprenticeship or vocational training programs, ideally within the hospitality or FM industry.
Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, educational curricula, and industry-specific skills requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic partnerships with educational institutions and industry organizations.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with a track record of delivering programs on time and within budget.
A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the development and implementation of apprenticeship programs
