Sport Aberdeen is looking for motivated and enthusiastic swimming teachers to join our award-winning programme delivering aquatics lessons at 10 venues across the city.
We are committed to providing quality swimming tuition for all ages, from birth to adulthood, and are looking for teachers with a passion for ensuring all swimmers reach their full potential. You’ll also need the ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with our customers.
To be eligible to apply for either an Aquatics Teacher or a Lead Aquatics Teacher role, you need to have the relevant swimming teacher qualification as detailed below.

Aquatics Teacher £10.98 per hour + £1.25 per hour holiday pay
Please note Aquatics teachers need UKCC Level 1 Teaching Aquatics (minimum) / Scottish Swimming Teaching Qualification (desirable) or equivalent
Lead Aquatics Teacher £13.93 per hour + £1.58 per hour holiday pay
Please note Lead Aquatic teachers need UKCC Level 2 Teaching Aquatics or Scottish Swimming Teaching Qualification (SSTQ) – or equivalent PLUS evidence of continuous professional development.
