The Role of the Area Business Manager:
Selling a range of infusion pumps & consumables, ventilation products, temperature assessment, nebulisers & consumables, breathing filters, anaesthesia products & isolation products.
Primary focus: New business on consumables, although some capital devices are included in range.
Selling into anaesthesia departments, intensive care departments, critical care departments, theatre departments & A&E.
Support, maintain & enhance relationship & product usage amongst existing users of products through regular contact, training and fault finding/account management.
Plan your own work activities, within appropriate guidelines and procedures, and liaise with colleagues to ensure effective service delivery, generate sales, and maintain and improve customer relationships.
The role represents a high level of autonomy and freedom to work independently provided targets and standards are maintained

The Ideal Person for the Area Business Manager
Ideally looking for someone from a ventilation/anaesthesia background
Failing that will look at candidates that have experience of selling into anaesthesia departments, intensive care departments, critical care departments, theatre departments & A&E
Looking for someone who is a good communicator, capable of running your own opportunity pipeline without too much hand holding
Good organisational skills to handle the broad range of products & customers and can deal with the difficulties of theatre access/anaesthetic dept demands
