Area Sales Manager

Promoting a high-end range of internal dry lining, dry wall and flooring products. Tracking commercial projects with architects, main contractors and dry lining subcontractors across the North of England. With the focus on projects within the education, healthcare and leisure sectors.

Package: circa£40k-£45k basic +20% OTE (+40% achievable with over-riders), hybrid company car, laptop, mobile, pension & 24 day's holiday
Territory: North West, North East and Yorkshire
Products: Specialist dry lining and internal dry wall products, with a wide range of complimentary flooring, tiling and cladding products to add-on and up-sell
Customers: Architects, main contractors, subcontractors, dry liners, timber frame manufacturers and distributors

The Successful Applicant - Area Sales Manager:

• You will firstly be a field sales professional with a proven track record within the building materials / construction / commercial interiors industry
• Applicants with commercial interiors or specification background will be readily received, but is by no means essential
• My client is more interested in hiring someone with the right personality, attitude and work rate
• Someone with a professional and structured approach to solution sales, whilst being personable, proactive and target driven

The Role - Area Sales Manager:

• Inheriting an established and well-performing area from a soon to be promoted Area Sales Manager
• Tracking and winning commercial projects from architects, main contractors, dry lining contractors and timber frame manufacturers
• Promoting a high-end range of dry lining and internal dry wall products, alongside a complimentary range of flooring, tiling and cladding materials
• The emphasis will be on winning projects from within the education, healthcare and leisure sectors, but not exclusively
• All projects will be back-sold through an established network of dry lining contractors and specialist distributors
• A fantastic range of products with loads of USP's, based around strength, durability, acoustic and fire protection qualities
