In your role as Area Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating a multi-discipline team to deliver strategic planning, budget management and management of the schedule.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:
- Lead the Multi-Disciplinary Team for a particular sub-area to deliver assigned scope in line with relevant Safety, Quality, Time & Cost targets.
- Working closely with the Area Delivery Teams, define the work scope to be delivered by the contract or contracts.
- Ensure the priorities to support the delivery of the schedule, driven by site installation, are clear to other members of the Programme, including Manufacturing, Engineering and Procurement. Become the leading beacon for setting direction to the overall Programme.
- Work closely with other Programmes (Civils, Equipment, Commissioning) and Delivery Integration to achieve relevant interface milestones that support delivery.
- Manage the Schedule, working closely with their assigned Planner and wider team.
- Establish relevant elements of Task Orders for instruction into the Installation Contract with the development & maintenance of an appropriate Master Data and Assumption Log.
- In partnership with the Area Construction Lead, undertake all pre-construction readiness to ensure that design, materials & temporary works are available at pre-determined lead times.
- Report progress at intervals as determined and become the single source of truth for all stakeholders (Programme, Area and Functions).
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, physics or other related field.
- Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
- Knowledge and / or practitioner of Project Management with experience of applying either APM body of knowledge and OGC's Prince 2.
- Can demonstrate experience of managing projects through the project lifecycle from concept to handover.
- Understanding the needs of nuclear quality and how nuclear quality is assured and controlled.
- Awareness of how to apply a graded approach to quality.
You will be able to demonstrate success in managing / developing:
- Engineering design, contract and field execution strategies for project delivery.
- Multi-discipline EPCM projects.
- Procurement and management of complex contracts.
- Control of costs; risk; schedule and change and proficient in the use of Earned Value tools.
- Close out of commercial claims and the associated negotiations.
