RAC have a new opportunity for a Area Team Manager to join our growing Inspections team!
You will be reporting into the Regional Operations Manager. Working hours required are Mon-Fri with a requirement to be flexible operating on a field based working model in and around the Paddock Wood, Crawley and Enfield areas.
What you’ll do…
As a Area Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting circa 10 vehicle inspectors across 3 of our client sites.
- Lead and engage your teams to ensure the highest levels of performance are achieved
- Manage attendance to ensure absence rates remain under target
- Work with the resourcing manager to manage headcount and ensure productivity and cost targets are being achieved
- Conduct regular performance appraisals, providing constructive feedback following our performance leadership process
What you’ll need…
- Proven experience of leading a team is essential
- A customer focused approach with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Sound judgement and understanding of operational requirements
- Minimum level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering
