Your purpose & impact:
As the Art Director at Estrid, reporting into the Executive Creative Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing our visual identity across various platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling and effective visual communication strategies. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio, exceptional design skills, and a proven ability to translate creative concepts into impactful visuals for campaign imagery, digital assets, content and in-store environments.


Some of the things you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement the overall visual style and strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.

  • Provide creative direction and leadership to a Graphic Designer and Performance Marketing Video specialist, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, on-brand visual assets.

  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing team to conceptualise and execute multi-channel creative campaigns across different mediums, including print, digital, and social, while maintaining consistency and delivering on the business objectives.

  • Create all brand guidelines and templates to ensure brand consistency across all touch points.

  • Developing brand packaging as directed by the Product Development and Product Marketing teams.

  • Work closely with brand marketing, product development, product marketing, growth marketing, ecomm, B2B, and CRM, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

  • Oversee the consistent application of the brand identity in all visual elements, both internally and externally.

  • Responsible for post-production schedules, making selects, retouching notes and templates for creative execution across all channels.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and design innovations, incorporating fresh ideas into the creative process.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining high standards of quality.

Skills and experiences important for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts.

  • Proven experience as an in-house Art Director or in a similar creative leadership role at a beauty, fashion or lifestyle brand.

  • Strong technical ability, significant experience in graphic design and digital design for a premium brand or from a creative agency background.

  • A conceptually strong portfolio displaying examples of beautifully crafted campaigns and big picture thinking

  • Concept-to-Counter creative campaign development experience

  • Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience developing organic and paid assets for the global social media landscape, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to lead and inspire a creative team.

  • Understanding of current design trends and best practices.

  • Naturally diplomatic. Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Personal interest in sustainability, diversity, and inclusivity.
