Our Role
The Home Art Director is a key role responsible for concepting the seasonal Home shoot requirement and Art Directing the creative teams, internal and external, to deliver to the required standard.
With a principle focus on the ‘Home’ division content in the seasonal ‘The thread’ magazine, the Home Art Director initially visualises the shoot requirement – working closely with the Head of Creative, to bring to life the seasonal narrative.
Working closely with the Production team to source and commission talent; photographers, videographers, stylists, video editors and content creators – Art Direct to create the digital assets.
This position requires a highly creative individual with a deep understanding of design principles, branding, and visual storytelling. The Home Art Director collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that creative concepts are not only visually striking but also align with the overall marketing objectives.
What you'll be doing
Creative Direction
- Provide creative direction and vision in support of campaign requirements.
- Develop and communicate a cohesive and compelling visual narrative for campaigns.
- Ensure that creative concepts align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
Conceptualisation and ideation
- Translate marketing briefs into visually impactful concepts that effectively convey key messages.
Brand consistency
- Ensure that all creative elements adhere to the established brand identity and guidelines. Update and refresh under the direction of Head of Creative.
- Collaborate with brand marketing to evolve and strengthen the visual identity of the brand
Cross functional collaboration
- Work closely with Buying, marketing, copywriting, and multimedia teams to integrate visual elements seamlessly.
- Provide creative guidance to internal and external stakeholders involved in the campaign.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to execute creative elements of campaigns.
Quality control
- Conduct thorough reviews of creative materials to ensure accuracy and alignment with campaign objectives.
- Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve creative assets.
Innovation and Trends
- Stay informed about design trends, industry innovations, and emerging technologies.
- Integrate new and innovative design approaches into campaigns to maintain a fresh and modern aesthetic.
