Artist Assistant To Painter Required In South East London

Main Duties

Artist Will Martyr is looking for a long term, full-time Assistant to join an established team at his Deptford studio (SE8 5JR). The position is full time (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm). Starting hourly rate is £14 per hour and rises with experience.

The main duties of the role will be working directly alongside Will, assisting every aspect in the production of his paintings. The candidate must have excellent knowledge and practical experience with painting methods and materials. The candidate must have exceptional attention to detail and be able to follow detailed instructions. The work requires working in fine detail, focusing on the cutting of stencils with scalpel blades.

Skills and Experience Required

Candidates with advanced additional skills in photoshop and video editing would be preferred.
