SalaryOur client is a boutique Property Firm with an entrepreneurial feel. An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Accountant to join their progressive team. As a Trainee Accountant and gain invaluable transactional accounting experience across multiple companies.
You will be ideally at least AAT level 3 qualified with previous Accounts experience. In this hands-on trainee accountant job, you will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, bank postings, invoice processing, reconciliations, journal entries, payment processing, cashflow reporting, statutory filings, loan covenant preparation and audit assistance.
Key Trainee Accountant Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Processing
- Bank Reconciliations & payroll Accounting
- VAT Returns
- Credit Card Reconciliation & rental Income Postings
- Intercompany Reconciliations & weekly Cashflow Reporting
- Loan Covenant Workings and expense Management
- Statutory Compliance
Applicants will have:
- AAT Level 2, ideally 3 Qualification or degree equivalent
- Ambitious & Growth Mindset
- Excellent Communication Skills
- A desire to work in an entrepreneurial setting.
