Assistant Accountant | Nottingham City Centre | Up to £30,000 + Study Support + Hybrid Working

If so, this Assistant Accountant role with a global investment and infrastructure company would be a great opportunity for you to develop further. This company have a Nottingham city centre based office and are looking to expand their finance community.
In this role, you will be able to have a hand in quarterly management accounts as well as annual statutory accounts, producing journals and assisting a very supportive Senior Management Accountant.

Role: Assistant Accountant
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Salary: Up to £30,000
The Job duties include:
- Production of quarterly management accounts.
- Production of annual statutory accounts.
- Preparing journals including prepayments and accruals.
- Reconciliation of the balance sheet.
- VAT returns.
- Ad-hoc assistance when required.
 
For this role, it is important that you are:
- Actively studying or about to study towards ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
- Possess previous experience with month end and the general ledger.
- Are accustomed to using excel and accountancy software.
