SalaryA Manufacturing company based in Portsmouth are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team.
This is a really exciting time to join a growing business, where you will support the Financial Controller with the day to day finance tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily posting of bank transactions
- Reconciliation of bank account and other balance sheet accounts
- Maintaining debtor's control
- Chase overdue payments.
- Assisting with management of purchase and sales ledgers
- Assisting with creating and maintaining supplier account details and reconciliation of supplier statements as required
- Processing general ledger, fixed assets and cash book transactions
- Supporting month end procedures

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, you will ideally be studying or planning to study towards AAT and will be able to commute to the offices in Denmead, Portsmouth.
