Ashley Kate are thrilled to be working with a top law firm to offer a Finance Assistant role on a full-time, permanent basis paying £24,000 a year plus!
Reporting into the Finance Controller, it is important that you have a proven background in within an accounts function and a keen eye for detail.
You will be assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments and journals, as well aiding with general ad-hoc reporting duties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments & journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintenance of fixed assets & prepare depreciation schedules
- Preparation of quarterly VAT return
- Processing and sending month end reports to partners
- Bank and petty cash reconciliations
About You:
- Previous experience within an accounts function - essential
- Attention to detail - essential
- Team orientated with a professional approach - essential
- Excellent communication and organisation skills - essential
- Excellent IT skills including intermediate level MS Excel - essential
- AAT qualified or equivalent - desired
