Harvey John are partnered with a thriving, multi-sited firm of solicitors to recruit an Accounts Assistant for their largest office in Gravesend. This new position within the finance team has been created to accommodate the firm's recent growth.
Your role will include contributing towards the accurate maintenance of: Client ledgers, petty cash records, disbursements, the firm's internal bookkeeping, bank account transfers and reconciliations, compliance and data management.
For this job, you'll ideally have: a minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience within a professional services environment, such as an accountancy practice, bookkeeping bureau, Law Firm, consultancy or other professional practice. You will be comfortable liaising with clients and people at all levels within an organisation, be accustomed to working to deadlines and without close supervision and uphold confidentiality and integrity at all times.
