Assistant Accountant Role
NC Associates are working with a forward thinking and market leading property organisation based in Central Manchester to assist in recruiting a Assistant Accountant. My client is looking for a confident and driven Assistant Accountant who can help support the Financial Manager and wider property team in supporting the finance function in all areas. As a Assistant Accountant you will have lots of autonomy and support to help build on your existing experience.
Assistant Accountant Responsibilities
- Supporting the Property Accountants with month end duties
- Bank reconciliation’s
- Month end accruals, journals
- Service charge reconciliation’s
- VAT returns
- Credit control chasing outstanding arrears
- Cash reconciliation’s
- Support the Financial Manager with ad hoc tasks when required
Assistant Accountant Experience Required
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant within property
- AAT, ACCA, CIMA Part qualified
- An ability to quickly pick-up new systems
- Excellent attention to detail and curiosity to understand more
- Strong team player
