Assistant Accountant – West London, £45k – Hybrid Working - 8 month FTC
A highly successful, global business are looking for a commercial Assistant Accountant to join their team on an initial 8 month FTC. The purpose of this Assistant Accountant role is to support the finance team with transaction processing, reconciliations, and associated finance processes. In addition, this role supports the Finance Business Partner in the preparation of month end accruals, deferrals, ensuring the integrity of the financial accounting process, reporting and internal controls.
Please note – the offices are based in Hammersmith, West London. Hybrid working is offered. This is an 8 month FTC – candidate need to be available immediately.
Key responsibilities of this Assistant Accountant role will include:
Posting multi-currency costs to the nominal ledger and project
Perform reconciliations between the various finance systems
Complete bank reconciliations for all rebate related accounts
Manage support schedules for client billing of rewards including meta data and maintenance, passing the billing amount to Accounts Receivable
Support management accountant with revenue accruals and reconciliations
Support internal stakeholders to resolve queries around funding
Assisting with the Invoicing and credit control process, ensuring that all invoicing is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the contracts
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years recent accounting experience and have excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude and approach. AAT qualification or studying towards ACCA/CIMA would be advantageous.
The salary on offer for this role is £45,000 pro rata.
