Do you have experience in accounting? Are you looking for a varied role with learning development opportunities?
We're looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the production of management accounts for the health and wellbeing team, with a particular focus on accurate revenue recognition and reconciliation. This is a varied role where you will also assist with budgeting, forecasting and provision of management information.

Every day you will…
- Obtain accurate and up-to-date milestone information to raise revenue invoices per contractual terms
- Conduct the reconciliation of billed, deferred and accrued income per business contract, ensuring P&L and balance sheet accuracy
- Post and maintain accrual journals with obtained business context
- Act as key contact for operations and finance queries
- Own the transaction review process with operations to maintain accurate contract accounting and transparency on business performance
- Assist with the end-to-end month-end process per group timetable: from sub-ledger postings to month-end result review

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have...
- Experience in a management accounting role, with background in production, reconciliation and review of key financial statements
- Experience in month-end management account production
- A completed or working towards accounting qualification
- Competence with Microsoft Excel
