We are currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Area Manager to cover our Adult Learning Centres at Beverley and Bridlington.
If you have a passion for managing a demanding and varied workload in order to provide a high quality learner-led service within an adult learning environment, then working as an Assistant Area Manager could be the rewarding, motivating and at times challenging experience for you.
What we need from you;
- You need to be an outstanding motivator and proven ability to engage and motivate staff.
- Have the passion to be an innovative thinker and develop creative solutions to problems.
- Have the ability to build a productive team which delivers consistent results.
- Good feedback and coaching skills to support staff receptivity and engagement.
- Experience of staff management including performance management.
- Proactive and self-motivated in order to be able to achieve targets/objectives.
- Organised, methodical and enthusiastic.
- Excellent ICT skills – including word, spreadsheets and knowledge of using MIS systems.
- High level of communication skills – both written and oral.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Resilience and strength of Character.
- Understands and accepts the need for change.
