The Role:-
The International Assistant Brand Manager plays a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and management of a wide variety of brand building projects and initiatives with focus on the DACH and Europe region, but also New Markets such as Australia. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our global brand presence, getting Gü to more people in more places around the world.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Focus on our DACH cluster (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands), Spain and New Markets.
- Support in the development of the annual brand plans.
- Implement new innovations in existing markets working with cross-functional teams, sales and finance, developing packaging, activation plans and sell-ins.
- Be a key part in defining launch strategy into new markets, working closely with sales, leading the gate process and executing the launch, developing winning sell-ins.
- Lead development and execution of shopper plans and brand activations.
- Lead Gu digital presence including updating the website and running social media.
- Performance and category analysis on monthly basis using internal and external data, including competitor review, performance drivers and propose actions.
- International Budget management and reporting.
- Work closely with distributors building a strong relationship to deliver strong commercial plans.
- Close link with innovation team feeding back international portfolio needs.
You will be:-
- Second jobber, you will ideally in FMCG marketing and/or have some international experience.
- Fluent in English and ideally another European language.
- Strong analytical ability; Nielsen or IRI.
- Ability to manage shopper activation from strategy to evaluation.
- Ability to manage digital activations, shopper programmes, artwork & packaging and update social media.
- Confident, friendly & enthusiastic and able to work with international teams.
- Curious and open-minded.
