ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of an Assistant Commercial Manager on an initial 6 month basis.
The Assistant Commercial Manager will provide a professional compliant procurement service for allocated user stakeholders within the business.
The Role:
* Conduct procurement process in a collaborative manner.
* Negotiate and implement contracts which deliver high value for money.
* Assist reviews/negotiations of contracts.
* Maintain accurate auditable records of procurement process compliance.
* Plan and engage with stakeholders to understand contract specifications.
* Build into contract developments sustainable procurement obligations and preferences including assurance of procurement authority level adherence.
Requirements:
* Experience in procuring against Public Contracts Regulations 2015
* Experience in running procurement, including call offs from public sector frameworks.
* Experience in writing internal governance papers.
* Ability to communicate effectively and to influence others through presentations, negotiation, and written reports at all levels.
* Proven project resource management and skills to be able to prioritise work in a highly pressurised environment.
* Qualified to CIPS professional standard or equivalent.
* Computer literate and experienced in use of standard spreadsheet and WP software packages.
