The Company
Our client is an established and growing professional services group providing accounting services for a portfolio of clients. They are looking for a part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing team.
The Role
This is a really involved role where you will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of accounts. Your willingness to learn and attitude and approach are more important than being able to do every part of the role. Training and support will be provided.
On a day-to-day basis you will support the qualified Management Accountant to prepare the numbers for the management accounts to be delivered for a number of business entities.
Daily duties will involve:

• Assisting in all aspects of Management reporting
• Support the month end reporting requirements reporting any anomalies to the Financial Controllers
• Assisting with preparation of information for quarterly Board papers
• Posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations and helping prepare the monthly P&L
• Preparation of VAT quarterly returns
• Ensuring integrity of sales and purchase ledger

The Candidate
A out-going individual with a can-do attitude you will be CIMA/ACCA part qualified and ideally have some experience working in an accounting practice. Self-motivated, personable and able to work individually or as part of a team this is a busy role where no two days are ever the same. You will work hard but in return for your hard work and commitment, our client will support you to become a fully qualified accountant in time and give you the environment you need to achieve this.
