Assistant Management Accountant

Space 8 Recruitment are thrilled to be supporting this Coventry-based Manufacturing company to find a new Assistant Management Accountant. This person will already have experience within finance in a manufacturing company.
The Company
This company has been around since the 1960s and remains family owned today, with a turnover in excess of £200m. They value their team of 900+ staff and offer hybrid working and an exciting and fast-paced environment.
The Role:
This role has become available due to restructure and reports into the Management Accountant. 
Duties include:
Assisting in the Preparation of the Management Accounts
Assisting to interrogate the BOM
Job costing
Trend analysis
Analysis of stock movement and investigation of variances
Assisting in the preparation of Payroll
What are we looking for?
An Assistant Management Accountant or Finance Analyst.
What is important is that you are from a manufacturing background. (There is no negotiation around this. It is essential.)
Also essential is advanced excel, including building of pivot tables, using v look ups and creating macros.

We are happy to hear from Part Qualified or candidates who are not studying as long as you have experience of the manufacturing industry.
