Assistant Management Accountant

Venn Group are working with a Private Helathacre client who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team.

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 pa
Locarion: North London
This role will be 5 days on site. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations
• Handle equal top-ups, annotations, and post month-end journals
• Support all home and regional employees
• Own profit & loss (P&L) lines, ensuring consistent reporting by home, division, and business-wide
• Manage head office cost lines, capturing expenditure in budget lines, and providing full visibility of actuals and forecasts
• Oversee development and exceptional cost lines, ensuring full visibility
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and analyze key P&L lines
• Reconcile relevant balance sheet accounts and perform capex analysis by homes and category, maintaining trends and forecasts
• Conduct inter-company reconciliations with a matrix showing all group companies and related parties
• Perform spend analysis for department heads
• Assist with month-end packs for homes and divisions
• Handle ad-hoc tasks relevant to the role
• Submit periodic reports aligned to capex
• Manage and execute standalone audits of legacy companies

Requirements:

• Studying for an accountancy qualification
• Experience in multi-site and/or healthcare environments
• Strong team player with excellent numerical skills
• Advanced Excel skills, capable of working with large and complex data sets from multiple platforms
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
