SalaryCMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting our Portland, Dorset client who is currently needing an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a progressive finance professional, due to a period of growth within the business this this a newly formed role where you will be working closely with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance.
Our client can offer study support for those that is wanting to take on further studies, with an element of hybrid working longer term.
What will the Assistant Management Accountant role involve?
- Support in the preparation of management accounts for multiple entities;
- Budget preparation and weekly cash flow forecasting;
- Intercompany accounts;
- Providing reporting and analysis for management team;
- Accrual and prepayments;
- Balance sheet reconciliations;
- Management of purchase and sales ledger and bank reconciliations.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:
- As Assistant Management Accountant, you would have previous exposure supporting in month end processes;
- Currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification or qualified by experience;
- Confident Excel and systems skills;
- Available at short notice would be highly beneficial however not essential.
