We are currently recruiting for a unique split role. The role of an Office Manager will be combined with that of a Trainee Finance Assistant who is actively studying their AAT. This role will be based in central Bristol although flexible hybrid working after the initial induction period will be available. This is a permanent full-time role. This is a really important role in a small department, and you will report directly to the Head of Finance. The ability to build positive working relationships and prioritise a busy workload are vital. Your roles and responsibilities will vary from liaising with all types of stakeholders to differing finance tasks, so a flexible and proactive nature is essential. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to: • Daily banking • Purchase ledger • Sales ledger • Credit control • Credit card reconciliations • Inter-company reconciliations • Publishing reconciliations • Rental property and tenancy contract administration • Fire marshalling (training would be provided) • First Aider (training would be provided) • Liasing with tradespersons and confirming works are completed • Ensuring stocks throughout the premises are replenished
This role will require you to be working towards your AAT level 4, and your responsibilities will grow in line with your studies, which will be supported. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills; plus be confident with differing IT systems and software programmes as a variety are used within this role. To be successful you will be meticulous in your work with a strong eye for detail. You will have detailed Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and previous experience of Sage 50accounts would be desirable. With a growth mindset, you will have a friendly but professional manner with a willingness to embrace the digital age.
