LOCATION: Taunton, Somerset (office based with hybrid working 1-2 days from home)
SALARY & BENEFITS: Circa £32,000 PA DOE

HOURS: 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

THE ROLE: You will be part of the Finance department which is central to the business. You will play a crucial role within the organisation, primarily focusing on providing financial information and analysis to support decision making, strategic planning, and overall management functions.
DUTIES:
- Income reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly management accounts (profit and loss, balance sheet reconciliations; prepayments, accruals, bank accounts, etc.) and posting month-end journals
- Resolving any queries that may arise from month-end duties
- Calculation of profit share
- Variance analysis
- Accounts commentary
- Support the preparation of board pack, including commentary
- Assistance with year-end procedures and audit, including preparation of reconciliation schedules, compiling any audit evidence required and assisting with any other ad-hoc audit requests
- Other ad-hoc duties to support the wider Finance Team
THE CANDIDATE:
- Gained, or be working towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or be qualified by experience.
- Great communication skills
- Self-organisation and prioritisation
- IT Literate with a good working knowledge of Excel
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Excellent attention to detail
