SalaryI am currently supporting a high growth financial services businesses who are looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic team based in Solihull.
As the Assistant Accountant you will be working closely with the Senior Finance Manager to ensure that accurate financial records are maintained, orders are dealt with correctly and ad hoc project work is completed.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in management accounts production and managing the day-to-day transactional area of the finance function.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including AR ledger, invoices and bank payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and other ledger accounts.
- Work alongside the Senior Finance Manager, completing ad hoc finance work.
Key requirements:
- University degree with the intention of studying / continued study of your ACCA or CIMA, applicants who have gone down the AAT route will also be considered.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Experience of accounting systems preferred but not required.
