Day-to-day of the role:
• Collaborate with the Principal and leadership team to set strategic directions and policies for the school.
• Lead initiatives to drive school improvement and student achievement.
• Mentor and support teachers and staff, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
• Engage with parents, carers, and the wider community to build strong partnerships that support student learning.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning outcomes.
• Ensure the school’s ethos and values are embedded in daily practice.
• Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and assessment strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, either as an Assistant Principal or a middle leader ready to step up.
• A clear vision for educational excellence and the ability to implement strategic change.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead and inspire staff, students, and the community.
• A commitment to inclusive education and the welfare of all students.
• A track record of improving teaching and learning outcomes.
• Relevant professional qualifications in education.
•Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to get a new one.
