We are recruiting Assistant Project Development Engineers to be based in Warwick working on a hybrid basis.

 

We manage the end-to-end connections process, from customer application to energisation.  Our wide-ranging customer portfolio includes everything from interconnectors and offshore wind farms to battery storage and data centres.

 

As an Assistant Project Development Engineer you will support and where appropriate lead the development and costing of connection offer proposals for both new connection applications and modification applications.

What you will be doing

 

Day-to-day activities will vary throughout the project lifecycle. Some days you may be assessing connection applications we have received and ensuring the most appropriate connection options are offered to the customer. You will be working closely with our Account Managers and the Lead Development Engineers and also supporting the regional team with the development of site strategies.

  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • An understanding of engineering software and tools for design, analysis, and simulations.
  • Skills in electrical engineering principles and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Knowledge and skills in project planning, project delivery and financial controls.
  • A relevant Engineering degree and/or relevant experience in a related field
  • A driving licence that permits you to drive in the UK.
