The successful candidate would be required to work every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at a total of 21 hours per week.

Role responsibilities
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Senior Project Managers and Project Managers in delivering the programme of projects across the Wales & Borders network. They will contribute to all aspects of the project lifecycle from scoping through to tender award, work completion and handover.
- Ensure effective project planning, control and monitoring is in place, working in accordance with the TFW Project Management Methodology and PRINCE 2 principles.
- Work within the governance structure provided by the Project Management Office (PMO).
- Assist Project Manager with delivering projects across Wales & Borders network
- Support procurement and commercial activities with TFW procurement team
Who we’re looking for
- Must possess good analytical and planning skills
- The ability to communicate, influence and present ideas and arguments at all levels, both written and oral
- Excellent IT skills for Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.
- Extremely well organised and able to work to sound processes.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
