About the company:
* Our client is a prestigious and acclaimed national roofing and cladding contractor, recognized for their expertise in a range of services including but not limited to Sheeting & Cladding, Built-Up Felt Systems, Reactive Roof Maintenance, Roof Management, Liquid Applied Roofs, Metal Roof Tiling, and Flat-to-Pitch Roof Conversions.
They are now recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Requirements:
* 2-3 years experience.
About the role:
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your duties and responsibilities will include assisting with the below:
* Measure & estimate accurately & efficiently
* Control cost & maximise value
* Mitigate risk using correct contractual procedures
* Produce accurate monthly valuations on time
* Access, value, and process labour & subcontractor payments, resolving any disputes promptly
* Manage workforce and client for the project
* Achieve best cashflow and variance analysis
* Report on opportunities, risk, and performance of the project
