Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

Our client is a leading tier 1 contractor specialising in student accommodation, mixed use developments, retail, residential developments, hotels and sport and leisure. They offer cutting-edge knowledge and experience in sustainability and digital construction to deliver exceptional results across both the public and private sectors.
They are now recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
You'll be working on a £30m industrial design and build scheme in Warrington.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
* Assist with updating all cost control procedures as advised, and working within the guidelines set out within the Group policies and procedures
* Assist with the compilation of all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
* Assist with accurate costing for each aspect of site development
* Assist with compiling reports on costs and cash flows using the support systems available, as well as reports for the Division as required
* Assist with preparation of tenders and procurement of sub-contractors
* Process subcontract orders, payments and variations
* Attend team meetings as required
* Promote and act in accordance with Group values, systems, policies and procedures
