We are now seeking an exceptional Assistant SENCO to join a secondary school in Rainhill and take strategic oversight of the whole school.
As Assistant SENCO you will play a pivotal role in developing the academic, social and emotional development of our students. You will be responsible for creating a positive and nurturing environment that encourages students to strive for excellence and achieve their full potential. Working closely with the SENCO you will continue to deliver a well rounded, inclusive environment that our students thrive in both academically and socially.
You must have experience with SENCO work/ must have written EHCPs / EHATs/ND pathways experience. We need someone to hit the ground running so must have this experience.

- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on schools needs
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £100 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (desirable not preferred)
- Previous experience working in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
