Form of workMy client, a national housing developer, is looking to hire an Assistant Site Manager for a multi-phased traditional build scheme based in Peterborough, consisting of a total of 125 traditionally built houses. Mix of private sale and HA and bulk packages.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working as an Assistant Site manager within a production team on similar new build traditional build projects. Someone who is keen, driven and wants to build a successful career with a growing business.
Duties,
- No2, Assistant Site Manager reporting in to a Site Manager/Senior Site Manager
- Depending on experience you will be working with either External or Internal packages
- Support with inductions and toolbox talks
- Working in line with company programmes and have a clear understanding of customer care
- Programming
- Ensure sub-contractors and trades staff are working inline with programme and targets
- Ensure any issues that cannot be rectified are brought to the attention of the No'1 on site.
- Organise all trades & Labour and sub-contractors
- NHBC stage inspections
- Snagging/Re-snagging
- Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
- Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
- Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
- Health and Safety is followed and adhered to
- Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
- Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
Qualifications,
- Assistant Site Management experience on traditional build housing schemes
- Trade background, whilst being a supervisor would be an advantage
- Willing to take on additional duties and training offered by the company
- CSCS
- First Aid,
