We are recruiting for an Associate Business Administration / Customer Support for the Europe Corporate Finance department No1



Profile Summary


  • To provide customers with high quality support. Agree deals and rates for various banking products, such as Loans, Deposits, Foreign Exchange & various types of Trade Finance. Responding to inquiries from Customers and processing the day to day transactions and requirements of our international clients. Maintain high levels of satisfaction and respond quickly and accurately to requests received by email from Clients and internal enquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide a customer dealing service related to various banking products, such as Loan, Deposit, Foreign Exchange, agreeing rates and booking deals on behalf of clients.
  • Set up, maintain and renew Customer Facilities.
  • Processing applications, reading documentation and updating client information on internal systems.
  • Know Your Customer practices and knowledge of anti-money laundering policies for the registration of new Corporate Customers.
  • To maintain relationships.
  • Ad hoc duties as allocated by the Head of Customer Support.

Compliance responsibilities

  • Comply with various regulations ( including Anti Money Laundering).
  • Comply with internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Experience and knowledge in banking or within a financial background.

Skills and Experience

  • Very good organisational, time management, numeric skills, ability to communicate to a high standard – both written and oral.
  • Very good customer service and Teamwork.
  • Experience with various types of Bilateral Loans, Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Trade Finance, Payments, Bank Accounts, Mandates, Indemnities.
  • Fluency in English essential.
  • Fluency in Japanese both written and verbal is preferred but not essential.
  • Excel skills.

  • Meet time sensitive deadline throughout the day or month.
  • Setting up customer facilities.
  • Maintain a good level of customer satisfaction and relationship with Mizuho colleagues across the worldwide organisation.
  • Maintain a good level of accuracy when handling data to reduce and avoid errors.
  • Awareness of revenue generation and cost saving through daily dealings.
  • Provide feedback and propose ideas for internal procedural improvements.
