Associate Director - Sheffield And Leeds
Due to continuing growth, my client is looking for qualified and experienced Town Planners to join the planning team. The successful candidate will be based in either the Sheffield or Leeds office.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Director you will work semi-autonomously, under the supervision of Directors. You will lead on projects and engage in both development management and development plan / policy work. This will include, but is not limited to, managing planning applications of all scales, planning appeals, Local Plan representations, site promotion, Local Plan Examination and public inquiry work.
With excellent stakeholder management skills, you will also be offered a high degree of client interface and the opportunity to attend networking events in order to grow your personal contacts and promote the company. You should be self-motivated and will be excited by the prospect of developing your own client base and making a real contribution to the growth of the business.
You will also be expected to assist Directors with the day-to-day management of the office and supervise junior members of the planning team.
Qualifications
We are looking for qualified Town Planners ideally with at least 8 - 10 years professional experience (in either private or public sector). Candidates should have a postgraduate qualification in Planning and be a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Salary and Benefits
My client can offer flexible and competitive salary and benefits including; pension, bonus scheme and private healthcare. Candidates will be considered on a full or part-time basis.
