Ashcombe House provides residential parenting assessments for up to 6 families. The centre has been specifically designed to offer both high level 24hr support and supervision, combined with a clear progressive pathway to our own semi-independent accommodation.
We are inviting applications for:
- Sessional / Bank Family Support Workers (Day and Waking Night shifts)
£13.38 - £16.28 per hour
You will have:
- Responsibility for recording factual observations that contribute to our Parenting Assessments.
- Outstanding communication and listening skills.
- The ability to enable parents to be the best they can, be encouraging and offer accurate, fair feedback.
- An understanding that the child’s immediate safety must always be our priority.
- A good knowledge of childcare and follow best practice guidance from the NHS and other professional bodies.
- A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification, or equivalent
- Availability to work 12 hour shifts including weekdays and weekends
