To work as behaviour support in a school you will be expected to provide the best possible care and education that we can for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs between the ages of 11 and 16. If you have previous experience with challenging behaviours the skills can be transferred.
About the role
The job role to support students with behavioural needs and academic learning within the classroom as part of a team of 3 staff with up to 9 students. You would be responsible for, supporting pupils to develop resilience, social skills and self-esteem, and deploying effective strategies for supporting pupils with a range of behavioural conditions (ASD/ADHD/SEMH/ODD). This is a permanent position.
