Bid & Tender Manager

Do you have experience project managing tenders and submissions?Have you got a demonstrable knowledge of bids writing?

We are recruiting for a Bid & Tender to join our New Truck Sales team on a full time permanent basis.

Although our Head Office is in Swindon, we work in an agile way and you will have the flexibility to manage your time and location of work accordingly.

The purpose of this role is to identify bid opportunities through registration on all appropriate industry bid Portals. To project manage the development of tenders from receipt of Invitation to Tender documentation through to submission to client and contract award. Ensuring compliance of MAN policies and identify risks to the business.

You will:

• Manage the end-to-end bid process from initial opportunity analysis through to contract signature
• Engage with customers to clarify requirements and facilitate bid response preparation
• Coordinate and lead the development of high-quality responses to customers
• Conduct win/loss analysis to identify areas for improvement in the bid process
• Ensure adherence to bid management processes and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of offering to customer needs
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with bids and contracts

In order to perform this role effectively, you will:

• Have the ability to create and maintain good business relationships.
• Be confident to conduct meetings and converse at all business levels.
• Be self-motivated and able to manage your own work diary and appointments.
• Have a working knowledge and understanding of the UK Commercial Vehicle Industry.
• Have Vehicle types & segment knowledge within a 3rd Party Supplier process.
• Research and report compiling with presentation skills.
• Have the ability to prioritise a diverse workload.
• Have the ability to analyse data and summarise the findings in a clear logical manner
