Bid Writer

the role:
We are looking for a Bid Writer to join our very long-established central Ipswich client. The company has been in Ipswich for over 100 years, but they are a modern bunch, with great offices and a nice team of 35 people. They are in the heart of the town but do have parking available along with a host of other fab benefits as well as flexible working, most work 1-2 days from home.
Our client is known for their work in the public sector providing mechanical electrical systems for hospitals, schools, universities etc. but thats not all they do. 90% of your quotes/bids will be pretty standard, but that other 10% requires detailed work, so you will have a nice mix in your daily schedule.

what were looking for:
You will need experience and knowledge within the construction/maintenance/building environments and computer literacy including Microsoft Office programs is essential. Exemplary written English with a professional writing style, and attention to detail regarding corporate layout and presentation style. Excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure delivery of high-quality work and delivery to time parameters.
