SalaryA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Billings Specialist to join a great company based in Central London on a permanent basis. This position offers hybrid working and is suitable for someone with similar experience looking to expand their skills and knowledge in this area of finance.
Responsibilities:
- Working within the Accounts Receivable team to implement first class billing and collections processes for the company.
- Working alongside the AR Team Leader to ensure a smooth running of all daily tasks that sit within the AR function.
- Acting as a “gate keeper” for all B2B, B2C and Wholesale orders, liaising with Sales teams and Customer Connections for any new or existing order queries.
- Accurate processing of daily and monthly contract invoicing.
- Assisting with month end tasks, including monthly revenue and contract reporting.
- Following the correct processes for in life contract change requests, renewals and terminations.
- Responding to customers professionally and efficiently from multiple shared mailboxes within the agreed SLA.
- Management of the company’s Direct Debit collection process, ensuring all payments are submitted correctly for each month’s submission and rectifying any payment failures within the service month.
- Carrying out credit control procedures to ensure that all customer invoices are paid on time and confidently pursuing late payers via email and telephone.
- Producing statements for B2B customers and accurately carrying out complex customer account reconciliation.
- Accurately raising credit notes following compensation approvals.
- Confidently assisting customers with invoicing and payment related queries and effectively communicating with key teams to resolve disputes as swiftly as possible.
- Daily bank reconciliations with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ensuring all payments are posted correctly to customer accounts and allocated to the correct invoice each day.
