Form of workI am currently working with a fast scaling media firm based in Holborn, who are seeking a standalone Billing Manager to take ownership of their US clients portfolio.
Reporting into the Finance Director the role will involve managing the full billing cycle for a collection of global firms as well as managing a range of stakeholders both externally and within the firm. This is a superb opportunity for someone with 4+ years of billing experience, either as a pure biller or as part of a larger role, to take the next step in their career.
Please note, this business operates a four days in the office, one day working from home hybrid model so please only apply to this role if this is workable for you.
Role Overview
- Billing our US Monthly Fees (retainers) to clients for approx. 300 clients
- Billing US rechargeable expenses onto clients. Providing receipts where necessary
- Monthly accounting adjustments for the US revenue split across departments
- Ownership of US client contracts within the finance team
- Ability to review client contracts for financial terms and ensure these are applied correctly in finance systems and contract database
What We Are Looking For:
- Either looking for someone with strong billing experience or someone with decent billing experience looking to progress in the role, who is also early PQ
- Attention to detail - spotting changes month on month
- Interest in the business and personable
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to work with senior US ADs to determine monthly to confirm billing. Be prepared for facilitating these meeting in a professional manner
- Excellent team working ability (working closely with the Finance Managers and Credit Controllers)
- Reliable and hardworking
- Ambitious - there is a lot to do and efficiencies to be made
- Team player excelling in a multitasking, deadline-driven environment.
