Book Department Volunteer

Love books? We’re looking for enthusiastic people to help price, organise and display our wide range of donated books in our shop. Create exciting and eye-catching displays and inspire others to pick up a book. This is a flexible opportunity to share your love of books or to get a taster of a career in retail and you'll be helping us to continue to fund life saving research.

Typical tasks include:

• Keeping our Book Department fully stocked with a fresh selection of donated books
• Sorting out donations of books
• Following our guidelines to value and price donated books
• Identifying rare and collectible books for online selling
• Some lifting and carrying of books involved – remember books can be heavy!
