Bookkeeper

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join a well-established business services company in Wakefield. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Description

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper
• Experience in Sage Line 50
• Experience to manage multiple income streams across multiple companies
• Experience of inter company balances
• Experience of producing and submitting VAT Returns
• Excellent Microsoft skills including excel & word
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional team
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Assisting in the production of accrual and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations desirable

Profile

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Sage accounting software would be desirable.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
• Good organisational skills.
• The ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
