A well-established and highly regarded company in Northern Ireland are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bookkeeper as they undergo an exciting phase of expansion. In this role, you will spearhead all bookkeeping activities while supporting the Managing Partner.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial documents and reports.
- Arrange invoice payments and monitor financial transactions.
- Conduct bank, digital payments received, and cash reconciliations.
- Manage sales, cash, and general ledgers.
- Oversee credit control and payroll (weekly and monthly).
- Handle monthly tax returns.
- Provide weekly and monthly financial reporting.
- Prepare weekly MI reports and handle relevant ad hoc duties.
- Act as the first point of contact for the Managing Partner.
Bookkeeper Requirements
- 4+ years accountancy experience
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
- Transactional finance experience incl. sales & purchase ledgers, credit control etc.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines and workload.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
