Permanent Bookeeper/Assistant Accountant – Hoursflexible

Part time hours available - flexible with hours

Brief Summary of Role:

Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant will support andprovide a professional and responsive accountancy service to clients.

The ideal candidate will be able to assist with accountspreparation to TB.

This established accounting firm located in Co. Down, NorthernIreland offers services in accounting, book-keeping, payroll services, VAT, taxreturns and financial planning.

They use their extensive knowledge toprovide quality solutions tailored to meet the needs of their clients andhave ensured their strong reputation for delivering high quality advisoryand consultancy work.

Key Responsibilities

• You will carry out end of year accountspreparation activities to TB

• VAT returns

• Monthly Journal prep

• Bookkeeping

• Developing and maintaining clientrelationships

Person Specifications

Qualifications/Experience:

Essential

· Experienced in producing end ofyear accounts to Trial Balance

· Experience of QuickBooks or similar accountancy package and a proven ability to use and adapt quickly to new technology.

· Experience of VAT

Preferred

· Experience of working in a small tomedium sized practice environment

Location: Bangor Co Down

Hours: Either FT or PT hours available

Salary: £14- £15 per hour
