SalaryReed Accountancy have recently begun working with a client who are looking for a permanent part time candidate to work 2.5 days a week as a Bookkeeper for their growing property business. The right candidate will be able to showcase the below responsibilities and be able to hit the ground running with limited training.
The Role
- Setting up statement transactions for any new clients as well as reconciling bank receipts to align with Xero accounting system
- Issuing of sales invoice to commercial clients 15 days prior to due date and manage building service charges as well as preparation of annual analysis of service charges
- Processing of all supplier invoices and reconciliation of supplier statements and sending out any remittances accordingly
- Maintenance of all commercial insurance and ensure this is recharged to tenants
- Preparation of tenant arrears report
- Dealing with quarterly management accounts, VAT returns and month end
The Person
- Previous experience with similar tasks is essential
- Experience with Xero package is desirable
