Description
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Maintain financial records including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Preparing and sending invoices and receipts to debtors
- Processing payroll and maintaining employee records
- Checking and correcting accounting errors and posting business transaction details to subsidiary books
- Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records
- Interacting with external auditors during audits
- Ensuring compliance with all internal processes
- Preparing financial reports for management when needed
- Prepare VAT return
- Assist with management accounts
- Produce balance sheet reconciliations
- Chasing payments
Profile
You will need:
- Experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Ability to do up to trial balance
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Resilient and adaptable
- Happy to work autonomously
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Offer
- c. £30,000 pa
- Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
