Our client, a prominent engineering company in the South West, is actively searching for a skilled Bookkeeper to join their dynamic and expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the bookkeeper, you'll play a pivotal role in managing daily financial operations, taking ownership of company finances, and providing essential support to the team. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic work environment, thrive on collaboration, and demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities.
The responsibilities:
- Process invoices and manage client billing.
- Manage credit control procedures.
- Handle daily data entry duties.
- Conduct bank reconciliation for multiple accounts.
- Prepare management reports and maintain accounts.
- Act as the primary liaison for external accountants.
- Administer payroll tasks.
- Manage auto-enrolment pension processes.
- Assist colleagues as needed within our small team environment.
The candidate:
- AAT Qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise in a comparable position.
- Proficiency in diverse systems and software such as Sage, Xero, and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organisational abilities.
