We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. If you approach everything with a positive can-do attitude, are solutions driven, efficient and meticulously organised we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities will include:
· Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
· Process and reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card transactions.
· Prepare and process monthly payroll
· Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and policies.
· Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
· Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making processes.
· Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
· Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and Certification:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
· Professional certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
